1…PRAY TODAY for Bobby and Linnet, Malini, Craig, and our Board Members to have safe travels to Oklahoma where they are convening for the Board Meeting being held this week.
2…PRAY (a) for the 2023 Fall HBI Global Partners Board Meeting today and tomorrow…..that the LORD would bless this time with unity of heart in purpose and vision, resulting in optimum planning for 2024 and fruitful ministry outcomes for the Glory of the LORD. PRAY (b) for our dinner this evening, that we might effectively introduce the ministry to new guests, as they will have the opportunity to hear about the tremendous advances for the Gospel in India over the past 12 months and learn how they can help drive the Gospel further into the world’s largest country. May this time be an uplifting, God-exalting evening for all!
3…CONTINUE PRAYING for our Board Meetings per (a) above and (b) for everyone’s safe travel home as meetings wrap up today
4…PRAY for Malini, the HBI India President, as she travels and visits partners in the U.S. PRAY she will find favor and God will use her to build increased commitment in our partners for the ministry of HBI India.
5…PRAY for health and stamina for Bobby and Linnet, as they continue to travel through most of November reporting to churches and missions committees. PRAY that God will give them favor as they strive to build new relationships with churches in the hope of mobilizing them to join in the mission of reaching the unreached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ!! PRAY for protection for their daughter and her husband as they travel.
6…PRAY for Craig, our Director of National Mobilization, as he spends this month meeting with pastors, churches, and individuals …1) that God will bless these conversations and opportunities to share the HBI GP vision; 2) that God will strengthen and develop our partner relationships with churches; 3) that God will lead many more people and churches to partner with HBI GP in prayer and support of this mission.
7…PRAY for four new church connections that are potential partnerships for HBI Global Partners and for a total of six new churches to partner with HBI this year. PRAY for the expansion of our donor base by 25 new donors before the end of 2023.
8…PRAY for the raising of the resources for the HBI Education Project. PRAY that God will allow us to raise $1 million by the end of 2023, so that we will have adequate resources to complete the civil work related to this building.
9…PRAY that the work on this project will progress without any hindrances or heavy rains and that the civil work will be completed in 10 months. PRAY that the civil construction company will stay on target and for the HBI Civil team to manage and supervise the project diligently.
10…PRAY for the selection of other contractors: electrical, plumbing, interiors, acoustic, glazing, furnishing, etc! PRAY for the safety and protection of people inside the HBI campus and the construction site personnel.
11…PRAY for the health of our Bible College students, in order that they would be able to successfully write their exams, as the semester comes to an end this month.
12…PRAY for the academic consultation that will be held during the break between first and second semester…that the students attending will recognize the value of this opportunity to partake of “lessons” that are not an official part of their curriculum, but nevertheless an integral part of shaping their minds and honing their skills for ministry. “Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will stand before kings; he will not stand before obscure men.” Prov. 22:29
13…PRAY for the college administrative team as they plan and prepare for the second semester. PRAY for God’s protection of the Bible college from the forces that would seek to undermine the mission of the college. “But you, Lord, are a shield around me…” Ps. 3:3a
14…PRAY for the new semester of online courses, specifically that all technological needs would be met, that all needed courses and books would be uploaded without issue and on time, and for the blessing of God on the students completing their studies online.
15…PRAY for Malini as she fills the role of President of the Bible College, and for Johnson as he takes the position of Principal of the College, that they each clearly sense God’s presence and His hand filling them with His strength and wisdom in their respective positions. PRAY for God’s protection for the Bible college from the forces that would seek to undermine the mission of the college.
16…PRAY for Bobby and Linnet as they travel in the midst of world unrest. PRAY that God will bless Bobby with an opportunity to teach and participate with other presenters and participants in a program to develop a clear understanding of Christ’s redemptive work in reconciling the world to Himself and one another…and its significance in today’s context.
17…PRAY for the mobilization of 200 church planters to be trained in 2023. PRAY that the LORD will give us wisdom to discern those He is directing to this calling and that they will respond to our invitation.
18…PRAISE GOD for the PROMISE of a $50,000 MATCHING GRANT toward the completion of our 2023 budget for our church planters of $400,000. PRAY that God will bless this opportunity and our “GIVING TUESDAY” campaign response enabling us reach this goal.
19…PRAY for our 2025 goal of training 2,000 church planters, planting 20,000 churches, discipling 2,000,000 to Christ. PRAISE that we love and serve a God who is “not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.” “And this Gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations…” Acts 13:47
20…PRAY for our present church-planters/pastors on the frontlines who faithfully serve the Lord in 23 states….doing ministry even in the midst of problems and persecution. PRAY for their health, protection, and courage to stand firm in the Lord that they may be “…strong and courageous” and “Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous deeds among all peoples.” 1 Chr 16:24
21…PRAY for Ravi, the new director of INEC, which is the church-planting arm of HBI, that he may transition well and be filled with God’s wisdom and discernment, to help take the leadership of INEC to the next level!
22…PRAY that our partners and new contacts will catch the vision this year to add more workers for the harvest! “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few, therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” Mt.9:37-39
23… Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth. Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before Him with joyful singing. Know that the LORD Himself is God ; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise. For the LORD is good; His lovingkindness is everlasting, and His faithfulness to all generations.” Ps. 100
24… PRAISE GOD that we have identified an unreached people group that has been selected to be discipled to Christ and have funds available to begin this outreach.
25…PRAY for trained church planters to hear God’s call for cross-cultural ministry!
26…PRAY for the expansion of the partnership in literacy training for women.
27..PRAY for the various training programs – both non-formal and informal – in all our RTCs. PRAY for God’s empowerment for our directors, staff, and teachers, and that their lives and their teaching would magnify Christ. PRAISE GOD for the increasing enrollment and success in promoting children’s programs at the RTCs. PRAY for protection for the children at our children’s ministries, and PRAY for the recruitment of reliable, committed staff and teachers. PRAY for new Child Development Centers in various locations.
28..PRAY for the parents of these children to be drawn to the Lord as their children are ministered to through the above programs. “But Jesus called the children to him and said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.'” Luke 18:16
29…PRAY for HBI India staff and the leadership team, as well as their families, in various nations for 1) spiritual and physical health and protection, 2) Strength and stamina to persevere, 3) Wise and fruitful use of time, and 4)Unity in serving the Lord. PRAY for HBI GP office staff to function efficiently as a team to serve the supporters of HBI. PRAY for our efforts to add additional supporters and to keep our current supporters informed. Thank you for your prayers – we feel them!
