Dec 1…PRAY URGENT NEED!!! PRAY THE RAINS LET UP! MUCH FLOODING OCCURRING IN CHENNAI!!

Dec 2…PRAISE GOD for the PROMISE of a $50,000 MATCHING GRANT toward the completion of our 2023 budget for our church planters of $400,000. PRAY that God will bless this opportunity and our campaign response, enabling us to reach this goal. PRAY for Bobby as he speaks this Sunday upon returning to India and for his many teaching opportunities over the next two weeks.

Dec 3…PRAISE GOD that Linnet and Bobby are still able to serve God after turning 70 this year and for 40 years of very productive ministry serving our AMAZING GOD!!! PRAISE GOD that these past two months of ministry in the U.S. went well and may the LORD bless the return for the KINGDOM!!!

Dec 4…PRAY for the second semester on the HBI campus, which began on Nov. 27th…that God would bless the students, faculty and their families with good health and the students with good study skills and a hunger to know God and His Word! “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, handling accurately the work of truth.”

Dec 5…PRAISE GOD (a) for greatly blessing the 2023 Fall HBI Global Partners Board Meeting … with unity of heart in purpose and vision, resulting in optimum planning for 2024 and fruitful ministry outcomes for the Glory of the LORD. PRAISE GOD (b) for our dinner on Thursday evening that allowed us to effectively introduce the ministry to new guests, as they enjoyed the opportunity to hear about the tremendous advances for the Gospel in India over the past 12 months and learn how they can help drive the Gospel further into the world’s largest country…. It was truly an uplifting, God-exalting evening for all!

Dec 6…PRAY for Malini, the HBI India President, and her opportunity to visit with ministry partners while in the U.S. last month. PRAY that God would bless all these opportunities with favor and use her efforts to build increased commitment in our partners for the ministry of HBI India. PRAY for the LORD’S provision for all the operational needs of HBI!

Dec 7…PRAY in the month of December, that every person at HBI will seize the opportunity to share the GOOD NEWS of the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and follow through with those who respond!

Dec 8…PRAY for Craig, our Director of National Mobilization in the U.S. as he spends this month meeting with pastors, churches and individuals …1) that God will bless these conversations and opportunities to share the HBI GP vision; 2) that God will strengthen and develop our partner relationships with churches; 3) that God will lead many more people and churches to partner with HBI GP in prayer and support of this mission; 4) for the expansion of our donor base by 25 new donors before the end of 2023.

Dec 9…PRAY for the raising of the resources for the HBI Education Project. PRAY that God will allow us to raise $1 million by the end of 2023, so that we will have adequate resources to complete the civil work related to this building.

Dec 10…PRAY that the work on this project will progress without any hindrances or heavy rains and that the civil work will be completed in 10 months. PRAY that the civil construction company will stay on target and for the HBI Civil team to manage and supervise the project diligently.

Dec 11…PRAY for God’s wisdom and direction for the Education Building Committee and for the selection of other contractors: electrical, plumbing, interiors, acoustic, glazing, furnishing, etc! PRAY for the safety and protection of people inside the HBI campus and the construction site personnel.

Dec 12…PRAY for the renewal of the FCRA LICENSE. This has been a long-awaited need yet to be met….please pray for this to be completed!

Dec 13…PRAY for the students’ active participation in Chapel Service and other Spiritual Formation activities as the second semester begins and for the one-on-one meeting of the students with the director, for the purpose of personally encouraging and spiritually strengthening each and every student.

Dec 14…PRAY for the new semester of online courses, specifically that all technological needs would be met, that all needed courses and books would be uploaded without issue and on time, and for the blessing of God on the students completing their studies online. PRAY for the safety of our physical and cloud servers; for protection from viruses and hackers and for the commencement of our go-digital server. PRAY also for the recording and editing of the kids YOUTUBE channel videos.

Dec 15…PRAY for student recruitment for the upcoming academic year of 2024-2025…our goal is 100 Students.

Dec 16…PRAY for Malini as she fills the role of President of the Bible College, and for Johnson as he takes the position of Principal of the College, that they each clearly sense God’s presence and His hand filling them with His strength and wisdom in their respective positions. PRAY for God’s protection for the Bible college from the forces that would seek to undermine the mission of the college.

Dec 17…PRAY for Ravi, the new director of INEC, which is the church-planting arm of HBI, that he may transition well and be filled with God’s wisdom and discernment, to help take the leadership of INEC to the next level!

Dec 18…PRAY for the mobilization of 200 church planters to be trained in 2023. PRAY that the LORD will give us wisdom to discern those He is directing to this calling and that they will respond to our invitation.

Dec 19…PRAY for our 2025 goal of training 2,000 church planters, planting 20,000 churches, discipling 2,000,000 to Christ. PRAISE that we love and serve a God who is “not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.” “And this Gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations…” Acts 13:47

Dec 20…PRAISE GOD for our donor base of 370 generous contributing individuals! PRAY for God to increase to over 400 our number of those with the desire and resources to support this ministry to reach India for Christ.

Dec 21…PRAY for our present church-planters/pastors on the frontlines who faithfully serve the Lord in 23 states…doing ministry even in the midst of problems and persecution. Pray for their health, protection, and courage to stand firm in the Lord that they may be “...strong and courageous” and “Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous deeds among all peoples.” 1 Chr 16:24

Dec 22…PRAY that our partners and new contacts will catch the vision this year to add more workers for the harvest! “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few, therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” Mt.9:37-39

Dec 23…PRAISE GOD that we have identified an unreached people group that has been selected to be discipled to Christ and have funds available to begin this outreach.

Dec 24… PRAY for trained church planters to hear God’s call for cross-cultural ministry!

Dec 25…PRAISE GOD…”for behold, I bring you good news of a great joy which shall be for all the people; for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord…and suddenly there appeared with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, “GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST, AND ON EARTH PEACE AMONG MEN WITH WHOM HE IS PLEASED.”

Dec 26…PRAY for the expansion of the partnership in literacy training for women.

Dec 27…PRAY for the various training programs – both non-formal and informal – in all our RTCs. PRAY for God’s empowerment for our directors, staff, and teachers, and that their lives and their teaching would magnify Christ. PRAISE GOD for the increasing enrollment and success in promoting children’s programs at the RTCs. PRAY for protection for the children at our children’s ministries, and PRAY for the recruitment of reliable, committed staff and teachers. PRAY for new Child Development Centers in various locations.

Dec 28…PRAY for the parents of these children to be drawn to the Lord as their children are ministered to through the above programs. “But Jesus called the children to him and said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.'” Luke 18:16

Dec 29…PRAY for HBI India staff and the leadership team, as well as their families, in various nations for 1) spiritual and physical health and protection, 2) Strength and stamina to persevere, 3) Wise and fruitful use of time, and 4) Unity in serving the Lord. PRAY for HBI GP office staff to function efficiently as a team to serve the supporters of HBI. PRAY for our efforts to add additional supporters and to keep our current supporters informed. Thank you for your prayers – we feel them!

Dec 30…PRAISE GOD for the PROMISE of a $50,000 MATCHING GRANT toward the completion of our 2023 budget for our church planters of $400,000. PRAY that God will bless this opportunity on the final day of our campaign enabling us reach this goal!!!

Dec 31…Reflection: “To the only wise God, through Jesus Christ, be the glory forever. Amen.” Romans 16:27
