Providing leadership development to men and women in India is one of the strategies HBI Global Partners has developed to enable the Word of God to be spread throughout India. By providing both formal and informal leadership training, we are able to empower teachers, scholars, and even local pastors to continue to grow in the knowledge of God and the ability to shepherd the church.
Training Provided in Leadership Development
Through leadership development, HBI Global Partners is training men and women to take the Word of God to the rest of India. The leadership development program touches Indian nationals specifically to empower them to take the Good News back to the villages and towns they come from. Our leadership development program has enabled many men and women to spread the Word of God through their daily lives, careers, churches, and outreaches. This program continues to expand as we provide online classes. Here are the different types of training provided through the leadership development program:
FORMAL TRAINING
Ministry isn’t limited to just the four walls of the church. By providing formal education in theology degrees and professional degrees like social work, communications, counseling, and business administration, we empower men and women to let the power of God flow through their work, whether they’re working in the church or in the secular world. We have a team of professionals with experience in their field who can properly educate students and pass on the knowledge that they have gained.
BIBLICAL STUDIES
Understanding the Bible and Its doctrine is important for those dedicated to sharing the gospel and living a godly life. Who not only provide teaching on the Word of God but also how it can be applied to everyday life. Understanding recurring themes and concepts throughout the Bible is important to enhance your ability to comprehend the meaning of the Word.
CHURCH LEADERSHIP
Many local pastors come through our leadership development to receive more training on how to lead a church. When it comes to building and managing a church, there is more that goes into it than just preaching messages. Understanding administration and financial management is an important part of leading a church.
DISCIPLESHIP
Effective church leaders are able to disciple their congregation to raise up a group of strong believers. This makes way for a generation of new leaders within the church who can continue to bring the gospel to India. Through the leadership development program, we teach leaders how to be effective at discipling others.
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
Churches and Christian ministries can show people the love of God by providing community development programs and outreaches. This is an effective way to show people how God loves them as well as introduce people to Christ. Our leadership development program effectively covers how to manage community development programs in local communities.

HBI’s goal is to train expository preachers and teachers of the Word, Godly scholars committed to the authority of Scripture. We are educating students to use the original Biblical languages to develop their theological thinking in their own indigenous context.
We also provide non-formal and informal training to church planters and local pastors to enhance their skill in church leadership, discipleship and community development.
